About the Employer

Our client is a quality focused bespoke stonework contractor. Who specialises in the design, supply and Installation of high-quality stonework. They have established strong relationships with many of the well-known suppliers and, delivered projects for a variety of Clients including multiplex and Sir Robert McAlpine.

Our client is part of a wider group who work internationally with office’s based in the Middle East, France, Australia and America just to name a few. Their UK head office is Based in South Kensington. Last year the UK office had a stable turnover of £25m and are looking to grow this year with a healthy pipeline already secured with both existing and new clients.

About the Opportunity

Due to our client successful tendering our client is looking to add an experienced site manager to their ever-expanding team. You will be overseeing high end residential stonework packages in and around London. This opportunity is a permanent role, with scope for progression within the company, which will suit those who are career minded and looking for long term employment.

Requirements

To be successful all applicants must have worked for a rival stonework subcontractor in the UK. You must have the appropriate SMSTS/SSSTS qualifications, NVQ Level 3 minimum and a at least 2 years management experience. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to work to programs and deadlines, be flexible to adapt to change and have a keen eye for quality. The successful applicant will show proven experience managing direct and subcontract labour and have the ability to understand drawings.

Salary/ Benefits

Salary will be agreed with each individual on a case-by-case basis depending on previous experience. As a rough guideline I will be targeting individuals whose annual salary is within £40 to £50K and you will receive a company works package.
