About the Role:

I am currently searching for a Site Manager with experience of leading construction of small to mid-size residential projects with the capability to deliver as a number 1 on site without the support of an onsite PM, reporting directly into a Contract Manager.  The project in question is a block of 9 traditional build flats in Wembley which is due to start mid-August.

The company require this Site Manager to have a strong history of managing projects of a high standard from inception through to completion working for a main contractor without a huge amount of support. Their focus will be the management of sub-contractors, upkeep of construction process and program and overall responsibility for H&S & progress on site.

This role could suit someone who is happy at Site Management level, who has been there and done the role and loves running sites, or someone who is rapidly climbing the ranks and wants to join a company that will offer them additional experience before progressing up into a Project Management role.

About the benefits / rewards:

You will be well rewarded for your hard work with a remuneration package that will correspond to the individuals experience and skills. The guideline basic salary is £55,000 – £65,000 (Negotiable), however this will be dependent upon the specific skills and experience of each individual and is not written in stone.


Candidates applying for this position must have good experience working in a Site Management role for large or mid-size main contractors, as opposed to housing developers or directly for clients. They must have worked on relevant project types to match a business of this size, scale, and specialism.

This company hire for the long term, not project by project, and as such like to employ people with a steady and stable career history, with only a handful of previous employers. Although work experience is of course relevant, attitude towards career progression is the biggest driver for this business, and the ability to show your willingness to work hard, learn and succeed before during and after interview will put you in great stead.
