About the Opportunity

I’ve been approached by one of my Stonework specialists to recruit a site manager due to winning new projects in and around London. You will be on site working on internal Stonework packages, surrounded by professionals who work closely as a team to deliver the package on time and within budget. Within this role, you will be client facing to report on progress and issues regarding the project and it will be your responsibility to ensure the project is delivered successfully. About the Employer

Our Client is a specialist in the design, supply and install high quality internal stonework and have been well established since 1992. They have established strong relationships with many of the well-known system suppliers and, delivered projects for a variety of Clients including Sir Robert McAlpine, Mace and Multiplex. Their head office is based in Essex although cover nationwide, scale dependent. With a stable turnover of £6m in 2019 are client is looking to grow this year with a healthy pipeline already secured with both existing and new clients.

Requirements

To be successful all applicants must have worked for a rival stonework subcontractor in the UK. You must have the appropriate SMSTS/SSSTS qualifications and a minimum of 2 years management experience. In addition to this, the business will only consider applicants that have internal stonework experience including Kitchens and Bathrooms. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to work to programmes and deadline, be flexible to adapt to change and have a keen eye for quality. The successful applicant will show proven experience managing direct and subcontract labour and have the ability to understand drawings.

Salary/ Benefits

Salary will be agreed with each individual on a case by case basis depending on previous experience. As a rough guideline I will be targeting individuals whose annual salary is within £35K to £55K. All reasonable travel expenses will be included and you will receive a company works package.
