About the opportunity:

As part of their ongoing expansion, our client has identified the requirement for a Remediation Site Manager / Supervisor to work on their up-coming contracts throughout the South East and The Midlands.

As a Remediation Site Manager, you will work within an experienced remediation team on all aspects of remediation and will report directly to the Contracts Manager and Operations Director. The main objective of your role will be the operational delivery of remediation projects on programme / budget with no accidents. As a Remediation Site Manager you will be responsible for the management of operational aspects of remediation projects, ensuring technical aspects are delivered with support from Engineers, Project Managers and Directors; ensuring site records are kept up to date; liaising with clients and consultants; overseeing subcontractors; and directing plant to name just a few duties.

About the requirements:

It would be advantageous if you have relevant site experience in contaminated land but experience in civil engineering / earthworks would form as a good foundation for this exciting opportunity. A working knowledge of a range of remedial technologies, asbestos in soil and the CL:AIRE Definition of Waste: Development Industry Code of Practice would also be advantageous.

Due to projects being undertake throughout the South East and The Midlands, it is essential that you hold a full UK driving license.

About the benefits / rewards:

For this opportunity, professionals can expected to earn anywhere between £45,000 – £55,000 per annum, however specific remuneration will depend on experience and suitability.In addition to this. there will also be a generous package offered – a fully funded commercial vehicle, pension, healthcare, discretionary bonuses and a staying away allowance when required to work away from home.
