Due to successful expansion and a healthy pipeline of work, our client is recruiting permanently for a Site Agent to work on complex projects / packages delivered under the Thames Water Framework. The initial project will be based in Newbury. About the opportunity:

Due to the company continuing to grow and win more projects, they are now looking for a Site Agent to join their team. The successful professional will be involved in setting a personal example in health, safety, and environmental matters by ensuring compliance is in line with company policies and procedures, and personal safety tours. You will encourage repeat business by adopting a professional attitude with clients and stakeholders. The successful professional will be managing a team of Sub Agents, Site Engineers, and operational staff so it’s business-critical you help manage and coach these staff and enhance their development. This is your opportunity to build and develop a team the way you think things should be done and make a real difference.

You will work on complex projects / packages delivered under the Thames Water Framework with project values ranging up to £20M. These projects will include RC structures, deep drainage, bulk excavations, clean and waste water as well as some meica works.

My client is looking to develop and build a long-term team that is commutable throughout the M4 corridor and good long-term opportunities to grow with the team and progress are available.

About the benefits and rewards:

For this opportunity, my client is targeting professionals looking to earn anywhere between £50,000 – £60,000 per annum however specific remuneration will depend on experience and suitability.

Furthermore, there will be a generous package offered which includes a car allowance, 26 days annual leave, private medical insurance, defined contribution pension scheme matched up to 8% and coverage of professional membership fees.

About the requirements:

In order to be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must hold the following:

  • Civil Engineering Qualification – Degree level or equivalent
  • Working as Site Agent for a UK based Tier One Main Contractor (working on infrastructure projects is essential)
  • Ideally, I will need someone with at least 5 years experience working for a UK-based tier 1 contractor
  • Full, clean driving license
