About the role:

My client is looking for a Site Agent to join the team to deliver the Thames Water Framework projects. You will be managing projects within the Infrastructure Business Unit in the Water streams from contract award through to completion. You will be reporting to the Senior Manager on Department budget control procedures for contracts and progress against the programme, whilst enforcing and monitoring the Division’s Quality Assurance and Environmental systems. You will also report the progress of projects to either a Contracts Manager or Project Manager, depending on the value and complexity of the project and personal experience/ability.

A Civil Engineering/Construction Management degree is essential, and evidence of relevant post-graduation practical training e.g., attendance on courses for Form of Contracts, Formwork/Falsework Appreciation, Concrete Technology, H & S Management, etc. You will need at least 2 years of experience working for a UK Civil Engineering contractor, and experience from an engineering background demonstrating progress to Site Agent through career development, with both theoretical and practical experience. Site qualifications required are a CSCS card, SMSTS (5 day), First Aid at Work (4 day), and a National Water Hygiene card.
