About the opportunity:

You will be managing projects within the Company’s Infrastructure division, either in the Civils or Water streams from contract award through to completion; reporting to either a Contracts Manager or Project Manager depending on the value and complexity of the project and personal experience/ability. 

You will need to ensure the successful completion of projects for the Company by achieving acceptable financial outcomes, maintaining and improving client relationships, and adhering to the business’s quality/safety/environmental policies. You’ll have many responsibilities which include ensuring safe systems of work and that the Company Safety Policy is practiced, staff recruitment, resource allocation, and management of site staff, enforcement, and monitoring of the Division’s Quality Assurance and Env systems. Our client is looking for a professional who has awareness of quality and environmental practices within the business environment.

About the requirements:

It is essential that you have a Civil Engineering/Building qualification (a BSc Degree in Civil Engineering is preferred), as well as proven experience of operating at this level whilst working for a medium to major-sized UK Civil Engineering Contractor for at least 2 years. You will need knowledge and experience from an engineering background, demonstrating progression to Site Agent through career development with both theoretical and practical experience.
