About the company:

My client is a specialist Water and Civil Engineering contractor turning over £50M per annum and is now connected with 2 larger groups turning over £90M – £100M per company, per annum. This collaboration ensures clients are receiving excellent service as they’re able to innovate on the latest technologies and methods in the industry. Together, both companies specialise in many parts of Civil Engineering which are predominately water & utilities, such as clean & wastewater infrastructure, non-infrastructure, recalling, multi utilities, and reactive maintenance. They have secured a long-term contract for Southern Water’s sewage network, covering Sussex, Kent, Hampshire, and the Isle of Wight.

About the role:

The successful candidate will be reporting directly and providing direct administrative support to the SHEQ Manager. You will be liaising with the area operational resource, covering all administrative tasks associated. This role is a fixed-term contract, providing cover during a current employee’s absence (1 – 3 months), with the SHEQ department. Your responsibilities will include maintaining training databases, HGV movement spreadsheet, and accurate records, highlighting any driver infringements, missing documentation, and checks, and escalating all infringements to managers.

Requirements:

You must have strong problem-solving skills and administration skills as you will need an understanding and knowledge of Excel Spreadsheets and Microsoft Office. You will need excellent communication skills, attention to detail as well as dependability and reliability.
