About the company

Our client was formed 10 years ago by a group of highly experienced construction leaders with backgrounds in private and public sector new build and refurbishment contracts, all with tier 1 & major project experience. Over the last decade they have built a highly successful main contractor operating through London and the Home Counties.

Working on contracts varying from high end residential, hotels, and commercial fit out, their track record to date is based on their professionalism, ethics and delivery record. Contracts include design and build residential development in Brixton and refurbishment works on the British Museum.

The Role

Our client has a requirement for a Senior Site Manager who will be based on projects within London. The role will be leading a site reporting into a project based Senior Project Manager. You will be involved with the project from inception through to handover and will be required to interact closely with the client at all stages of the construction process. You will be responsible for 3 x high standard new build houses and 8 apartments.

Salary/ Benefits

Salary will be in the region of £60,000 – £75,000. In addition to this you will receive a generous benefits package including Car Allowance, Pension, Healthcare, Bonuses.

Requirements

Suitable candidates will have a strong background in Main Contracting. You will be experienced in management of new build (traditional & RC) & refurbishment projects in excess of £5 million and ideally within commercial / residential build in the private sector. The individual will be highly motivated, idea-driven and capable of exceeding expectations. SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid required. NVQ level 6&7 / BSc Construction Management would be advantageous.
