Having built long-term relationships with HA and local authorities, alongside developing their own speculative plots of land, my client have developed a project pipeline to complete approximately 500 new homes over the next 2 years. About the opportunity:

My client currently has an opportunity to join their existing Commercial team as a Senior Quantity Surveyor. A key role within the growth and long-term stability of the company, you will be expected to commercially manage a variety of schemes across the Northern Home Counties with locations such as Watford & Hemel Hempstead up to 100 units. Working collaboratively with the Commercial Director, Head of Buying and Assistant in a tight-knit team you will have the chance to quickly progress taking on as much responsibility as required, whilst also having a support network around you.

With the projected project pipeline and company growth strived for by the owner this is a role that could develop over time to management level. Having already secured long term working relationships with HA and looking to build new ones, this is a business model that provides security during uncertain economic times.

About the benefits and rewards:

A basic salary of up to £75k per annum plus car allowance and company benefits. You will also benefit from moving to a brand-new purpose-built office with various amenities on site.

About the requirements:

You must have proven track record of commercially managing new build residential schemes up to 100 units either working with a larger PLC house builder or local developer. A history of delivering a variety of new build houses and apartments for local authorities would be preferable.
