About the Opportunity:
Our Client is on the search for a Quantity Surveyor for RC Frame & Groundwork projects across London
Based in Northolt you will be supporting a team of Assistant Quantity Surveyors and Intermediate Quantity Surveyors.
About the Employer:
Our client was established over 50 years ago, specialising in Groundworks & Re-Inforced Concrete Frames with a turnover of £80m. Our client offers a complete service from pre-tender budgets and advice to advanced engineering.
About the Requirements:
As the Quantity Surveyor, you will have experience with Groundwork & RC Frame across a wide range of values from £15m – £35m
Some of the duties include but are not limited to:
- Assist in establishing a client’s requirements and undertake feasibility studies to ensure their proposals will work
- Prepare and analyse project costings for tenders, such as materials, quantities, labour and time
- Enhancing operational efficiency by directing overall day-to-day commercial activities of large scale Groundwork and RC Frame projects in the London area with the value ranging from £15M to £35M.
- Contribute to the success of company progression by preparing cost budgets and prices for contract variations along with monitoring costs to achieve overall objectives within agreed budgets and time frames.
- Manage significant challenges associated with completing valuations for interim application for payment including variations along with preparing, negotiating, and agreeing on final accounts and contra charges
