This is an exciting time to be joining this award winning, medium sized contractor. Our client was formed 10 years ago by a group of highly experienced construction leaders with backgrounds in private and public sector, new build and refurbishment contracts, all with tier 1 & major project experience. Over the last decade they have built a highly successful main contractor operating through London and the Home Counties.

Working on contracts varying from high end residential, hotels, museums and educational facilities and commercial fit out, their track record to date is based on their professionalism, ethics and delivery record. Contracts include a new build theatre at a school in Surrey, a design and build residential development in Brixton and refurbishment works on the British Museum. The business has always maintained a strong pipeline of work, built on outstanding, long term relationships with clients, architects, local authority and frameworks.

Staff development is important to this ambitious business. They provide training for entry level staff, as well as supporting current staff in qualifications and further training. The business rewards success, has clear layers of hierarchy and encourages promotion from within.

About the opportunity

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on residential and new build projects based in central London. Our client requires a Senior Quantity Surveyor to commercially manage a wide array of project styles, while supporting and mentoring an Assistant QS.

About the requirements:

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have a stable and progressive employment history in the main contracting sector. Qualifications/memberships in Quantity Surveying/ Commercial Management would be an advantageous. This opportunity will suit someone who has a proven track record of running build and refurbishment contracts worth £1-7m.
