Our Client is highly regarded as one of the UK’s leading Dry Lining Contractors due to their reputation and delivery on high profile projects for an impressive network of clients ranging from Tier 1 Main Contractors and the UK’s largest house builders across the capital and surrounding counties. Our client focuses on packages ranging anything from £1m to £15m and are known for delivering complex projects. This dynamic company has an annual turnover of £50m with a healthy order book secured till 2021.

About the Role:

We are currently recruiting for Intermediate to senior level Quantity Surveyors who will be reporting into the Commercial Manager. You will be capable of managing a project with values ranging up to £15 million. The projects will be in and around the London area covering Dry lining, Metsec and Suspended Ceiling Packages.   • Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client
  • Assisting in establishing a client’s requirements and undertaking feasibility studies
  • Performing risk and value management and cost control
  • Advising on procurement strategy
  • Identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks
  • Preparing and analysing costings for tenders
  • Allocating work to subcontractors

Minimum of 2 years’ experience with a reputable contractor. Degree qualified preferred. Most importantly the candidate for this role must be trustworthy, reliable, conscientious and keen to progress your career further. You will also have to be a highly motivated individual and a strong team player.  A consistent employment record is essential with at least two years at each employer.
