Are you a Senior Quantity Surveyor with experience of working on major civil engineering projects in the UK? Our client is recruiting permanently for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to initially work on London Power Tunnels Project running across South London.

About the opportunity:

Due to successful company expansion, our client is recruiting permanently for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to initially work on London Power Tunnels project running across South London which is programmed until the end of 2025. The requirement is to support subcontract delivery for Package 2 (Tunnels) and Package 5 (Headhouses).

Reporting directly to the Senior Commercial Manager, you will oversee a team of commercial professionals and be based at the project office in South London. You will be accountable for proactively contributing to the commercial success of the project; preparing applications and reports; reviewing incoming accounts and managing specified subcontract accounts and supporting senior commercial staff in negotiations.

About the benefits and rewards:

For this opportunity, our client is targeting professionals looking to earn anywhere between £60,000 – £65,000 per annum, however specific remuneration will depend on experience and suitability. Furthermore, there will be a generous package offered including a travel allowance (£5,000), company bonus, private healthcare, and other benefits associated with a large successful contractor.

About the requirements:

In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or similar and have proven success of working on major projects in the UK whilst employed by a tier one civil engineering contractor.

You must hold a detailed understanding of NEC forms of contract and demonstrate stability of employment, holding each previous employment for a minimum of 2 years.
