Senior Quantity Surveyor

About the Role:

I have been working with this client for a number of years and given their outstanding market presence they have won a number of contracts, and are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team. The candidate will have experience in the prime residential (build and refurb). They would like to bring somebody in who will initially be running a prime residential build in Berkshire in excess of £10m, with elements of new build, structural alterations (cut and carve) and refurbishment.

Our client is a well-respected specialist in high class residential projects. The business is renowned within industry for the delivery of both country home refurbishment and prime new build for an illustrious list of clients. They work across the Western Home Counties & Southern counties as well as London. They provide a broad range of bespoke individual and specialist building services, from in house design through to construction, refurbishment and on-going maintenance.

The company employs its own workforce and projects range from small works up to the value of £30m. Projects use a combination of top architects and designers, forward thinking renewable materials, combined with traditional skills.

The business remains privately owned and places importance on ongoing development of current stuff, offering professional training/qualifications, as well as the importance of craftmanship promoting skilled apprenticeship, hosting an in-house joinery and directly employed skilled trades team.

About Benefits and Rewards:

·£65,000 – £75,000 (Dependant on project exposure & experience)

Requirements:

The client is looking for someone with a proven history working on high specification residential projects, with experience in new build or refurbishment. You must be driven and have a hard work ethic. You must also have a structured permanent career.
