About the company

My client is a tier one main contractor who work worldwide, they are a leading name within infrastructure, utilities and rail turning over £1B. The company are 5 years into their 10-year growth plan, they are looking to turnover £2B by 2025, it’s very exciting times for the company. They specialise within rail, water, gas, power, highways, and construction. Due to their high profile and high standard of work they are working on contracts such as HS2, CP6, United Utilities and Thames Water (AMP7).

About the role:

Due to continues growth and a huge pipeline of work my client are now looking to grow their quality division by recruiting for a Senior Quality Engineer to report into the Quality Manager. The projects you will be working on will be Thames Water (AMP7) works which will involve tunnelling, pipework, pumping stations & water and wastewater facilities.

Some of the key duties include:

  • Establish and promote best practice in quality matters in conjunction with the Quality function.

  • Produce Quality plans, procedures and associated documentation and check compliance.
  • Establish and promote best practice in quality matters in conjunction with the Quality function.

About the Requirements:

To be considered for this role, individuals must have a strong background within the water industry, especially infrastructure and this must have been gained whilst working for a contractor in the UK. I will need somebody who is degree qualified in Civil Engineering, candidates must be able to demonstrate stability of employment throughout their career. You will also need to have worked as a Quality Assurance Engineer within the water & infrastructure industry. Furthermore, individuals must have strong management skills, knowledge of relevant utilities / health and safety policies and procedures.
