Senior Project Manager

£65,000 – £75,000 + package

Cockfosters, London

About the company

My client is a Tier 2 Main Contractor who specialises across several different utility disciplines such as power, telecoms, and multi utilities. They have been trading since the late 90’s and have generated a reputation that has made them one of the preferred contractors within the utility industry. They currently operate at a turnover of £80M per annum which is expected to grow over the coming years.

About the role

Due to a huge pipeline of work, my client is now looking for a Senior Project Manager to work on a large portfolio of Civil Engineering and power/electric projects. This role is an all-rounded Project Manager position, you will be working on projects from the tender stage through to handover to the client. This will involve working closely with the in-house design team and managing them, working in the pre-construction team and working on tenders, overseeing site teams, implementing quality and health & Safety on-site, and dealing directly with the clients. You will be working on a diverse set of projects that will involve multi utilities, ICP works, Power, telecoms, and Non Intrusive Cable Extraction (NICE). The projects you will be working on will range in value from £1M – £30M.

About the benefits and rewards

You will have the opportunity to join and work for a growing, forward-thinking, and progressive organisation, an organisation that has doubled in size over the last 5 years and will like to continue its growth. You will also be rewarded with a brilliant salary ranging from £65,000 – £75,000 + a full package on top.

About the requirements

It’s important that you have experience working for a UK-based Utility & Civil Engineering contractor, ideally within the power & electric sector but they will be open to other utilities. I am also looking for someone who has a technical mindset, someone who has experience taking projects from the pre-construction stage through to completion, as a Project Manager in the UK. It’s also important you have strong stability throughout your working career.
