About the company

My client is a tier one main contractor who works worldwide, they are a leading name within infrastructure, utilities, and rail turning over £1B. Despite being a Tier One worldwide contractor, they are also a family-run company and still have that family feel to them. They specialise in rail, water, gas, power, highways, and construction. Due to their high profile within Civil Engineering and their high standard of work, this has led to a very healthy pipeline of work for 2021. Some of the contracts they are working on are HS2, Thames Water, and CP6. As well as these contracts they also have several smaller and private civil engineering projects across London.

About the role

Due to the company continuing to grow and win more projects within London they are now looking for a senior engineer to join their team. The successful candidate needs to have the ability to produce, manage and drive Quality on each project as well as the ability and confidence to raise, discuss and resolve engineering issues on site, and with design engineers. The projects that you will be involved in will be Thames waterworks but infrastructure-based projects, involving deep drainage and concrete works. This opportunity has superb potential to help the correct professional to improve as an engineer and enhance their long-term career.

The successful candidate will be in charge of looking after a team of site engineers, ranging from 4-7 and it is important to note this opportunity has great potential to help people progress into a Sub Agent than in the future a project manager.

You will be working for a growing company that has a strong belief in the development and progression of their current staff and they offer a training program to help you progress into the next stage of your career.
