About the Role:

This company is looking for a Senior Document Controller to join a high flying construction team on a project in West London running until 2023. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the project team in addition to the efficient control of documentation and administrative processes in accordance with Project Specific and Company Procedures, as well as being responsible for assisting the Project Team in all their tasks of managing the administrative processes of the design approval, internal and external, as per the Company Procedures, with regards to Technical Documents on the Collaborative Tool / Data Base, and including organising the print outs or additional information of CDs/DVD’s/external hard drives whenever necessary.

This company use their own in-house data management system which is part of a wider project management program. This program works as a central organisation tool across the business and all of their projects, including being utilised by document controllers. Because of this bespoke system, the ideal candidate will have experience across a variety of systems and should be ready to learn new things and ways of working.

About the benefits / rewards:

This role is a fixed term contract, working specifically on this project which is due to run up until the end of 2023. The employment will be done on a day rate, which can go as high as 190 per day for the right person.

Requirements: The candidate MUST show Good all round Document Control knowledge and exemplary IT skills (MS Office), demonstrating the capacity to work effectively within a team environment using a systematic problem solving ability and organisational skills (prioritising tasks, respecting deadlines, methodical work). The perfect candidate would have previous experience and be familiar with various web-based document management systems.
