My client is one of the largest Housing Associations in the UK with a 100 year heritage they have provided over 125,000 new homes and currently sit at around £800 million turnover per year. Having reviewed there current position in the market and set new clear objectives for the next 10 years, my client is now targeting the construction of 50,000 new homes, and with it become the UK’s largest house builder. Alongside the already well-established land team my client have now decided to add an in-house Technical and Commercial team to further enhance product output and specification. About the Role:

My client are currently seeking an exceptional Cost Planner to provide professional cost plans and technical reports in order to help them realise their ambition. You will completing estimates and detailed cost-plans for projects nationwide with a key focus on the London and Home Counties. Given the widespread of projects across the country you can expect to work on large scale low-rise housing projects as well as RC Frame scheme based in Central city-centre locations.

Reporting directly to the Cost Planning and Estimating Director, you’ll take ownership and accountability for multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered on time. You’ll be responsible for identifying project risks, rewards, and constraints and preparing qualification schedules and risk registers. Candidate Requirements:

My client are ideally seeking someone with 10-15 years’ worth of cost planning and estimating experience with a developer or main contractor. You will have a proven track record of producing detailed cost-plans for low-rise housing developments. Ideally who will have experience of working across the South Western region with up to date prices across the supply chain.

About the Benefits and Reward:

Salary will be up to around £78,000 plus a £5,000 car allowance. You will be given the responsibility of managed your own workload and diary and with this will be granted a level of flexible working. My client are keen promoters of working from multiple office locations as well as at home, they can also allow you flexible hours and the chance to hot-desk.
