Our client is an award winning remediation contractor based in the South West, who offers practical solutions for brownfield regeneration and contaminated land problems. By using their extensive in-house experience, they aim to provide an unrivalled service tailored to their client’s individual’s needs. To date, out client has successfully completed technical projects throughout the UK for local authorities, residential and commercial developers, main contractors and consultants either in the role of principal contractor or subcontractor which range from small spills through to large multi-technology soil and groundwater remediation / development platform preparation on brownfield sites.

About the opportunity:

Due to continued expansion and confirmed forward workload of challenging and interesting projects, my client is recruiting permanently for an experienced Remediation Engineer / Project Manager where the opportunity will involve a mix of office and site based working (50:50 split). Reporting directly to the Directors, you will be responsible for the profitable delivery of remediation projects and supporting bid/tenders. General duties will include, but not be limited to: Managing the technical and commercial aspects of projects; supervise / mentor technical staff and carrying out factual and interpretive report writing to name just a few duties.

About the salary / rewards:

For this opportunity, my client is targeting professionals looking to earn anywhere between £32,000 – £42,000 per annum, however specific remuneration will depend on experience and suitability. There will also be a generous package offered in addition to other benefits associated with a successful contractor.

About the requirements:

In order to be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must have between 3-5 years relevant experience in contaminated land remediation, working in remediation contracting. Additionally, it is imperative you hold a full UK driving license and have working knowledge of a range of soil and groundwater remedial technologies, asbestos in soil, and the CL:AIRE Definition of waste.
