About the position:

Due to healthy order books and company expansion, there is a need for a remediation engineer to join the operations side of the business. You’ll have an excellent opportunity to build on your existing experience by supporting senior engineers and site managers on technical aspects of remediation projects to ensure remedial objectives are met.

As a remediation engineer, you will also have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects which differ in size and complexity. Whilst working on varied projects you will also need to produce remediation strategies, risk assessments, and method statements. Plus you will carry out site work including verification sampling, set up and commissioning of treatment systems.

  • Obtaining licenses, permits, and regulatory approvals
  • Writing completion / verification reports
  • Liaising with client representatives or third party verification engineers
  • Carry out remedial excavation and verification sampling to demonstrate remedial objectives are met.

About the Requirements:

In order to be considered for this opportunity, it is imperative that individuals have at least 2 years’ experience working with soil remediation and earthworks whilst also having experience in geotechnics. Additionally, individuals should have knowledge of a range of remedial technologies and due to the remit of work, must hold a full valid UK driving license.
