Our Client is an Industry leading specialist in internal glazed partition systems based in Canary Wharf and highly considered as a leading sub-contractor within the Fit Out sector having built a strong reputation for delivering first class, bespoke solutions to the industry. Established for over 15 years our Client has £20m worth of secured contracts for the next 12months with some of the UK’s fit out giants such as ISG, Como, Mace and Overbury.

About the Role:

My client are currently looking for an intermediate Quantity Surveyor who will be reporting into the Commercial Director. You will be capable of working within fast paced environment and running a projects up to £6M. The projects will be in and around the London area serving the commercial fit out market. The working environment is very friendly and enjoyable to be a part of which is reflected in the remarkably low staff turnover. Your role will include but not be limited to:

• Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client

• Assisting in establishing a client’s requirements and undertaking feasibility studies

• Performing risk and value management and cost control

• Advising on procurement strategy

• Identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks

• Preparing and analysing costings for tenders

• Allocating work to subcontractors

The guideline basic salary is £35,000 – £40,000 (Negotiable), however this will be dependent upon the specific skills and experience of each individual.


Minimum of 2 years’ experience with a reputable contractor. Degree qualified preferred. Most importantly the candidate for this role must be trustworthy, reliable, conscientious and keen to progress your career further. You will also have to be a highly motivated individual and a strong team player. A consistent employment record is essential with at least two years at each employer.
