About the position:

Due to healthy order books and company expansion, there is need for a degree qualified Quantity Surveyor to support the Commercial Director in the successful commercial and financial management of projects and tenders.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing costs with an end goal of maximising the project margin and ensuring delivery of payment whilst developing future client relationships. You will be involved from tender stage through to project completion.

About the requirements:

In order to be considered for this position, candidates will need to be degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or similar. Additionally, candidates must have proven experience of working at this level whilst employed by a civil engineering contractor in the UK. Furthermore, as this is a permanent position.

It is essential that candidates are able to demonstrate longevity in the workplace, holding each previous appointment for a minimum of 3 years and must have exposure NEC forms of contract.

About the package:

For this permanent position, I am targeting individuals looking to earn anywhere from £40,000 – £55,000 per annum however there may be flexibility on this as the specific salary will depend on previous experience and suitability. Furthermore, there will be a generous package on offer in addition to the usual benefits associated with a large successful company.
