About the opportunity:

Our client is actively growing their commercial team currently, specifically within the Manchester office, and is seeking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor who has a keen interest in working across the Financial, Retail, Education and Residential sectors on multiple build and refurbishment projects across the Northern regions.

The opportunity itself will encompass providing Quantity Surveying and procurement, and project monitoring to key clients, as well as risk management, Value Engineering Services, and earned value analysis. As your role evolves you will also adopt responsibility for providing litigation and investigation support services, including dispute resolution, expert witness and arbitration, and insurance valuations and claims. You will be well positioned to advise on capital allowance and other revenue advice, cost-in-use analysis, lifecycle costing, sinking fund analysis and allocation, all with the support of the wider Quantity Surveying and Leadership team.

With a total of 12 staff working in that region, the team has a small-company feel with the benefit and backing of the wider well-recognised brand.

 

About the benefits and rewards:

About the requirements:

The ideal professional will have 2+ years’ post graduate experience working as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within a PQS setting. You will be pro-active, driven and capable of working within a team environment. You will be able to work across multiple projects and report directly to the Client as required.
