About the company:

Tired of just being treated as just a number within a large corporate residential house basher or feeling underwhelmed by a lack of interesting projects? Have you hit a glass ceiling and lost track of your 5 year plan in terms of progression and future career prospects?

I have recently acquired an exclusive role with a mid-sized privately owned developer that have been established for well over 100 years. They have an immediate requirement for a pro-active, self-sufficient and well-organised Quantity Surveyor to help drive the residential development side of the business. Typically building out sites anywhere across the Western Home Counties you will be expected to have a solid track record with a developer commercially managing schemes up to 100 units

About the opportunity:

I have been working very closely with my client for the last year, building a team of personable, highly-motivated, and collaborative individuals that are all working together to aid the growth of the business. The Managing Director has pinpointed an opportunity for a new Quantity Surveyor to join the existing Commercial team. My client are currently on site with a selection of developments ranging in specification from mid to higher spec up to circa 40 units.

With the recent appointment of new management with a wealth of PLC experience there will be logical, transparent benefits with the development of this role as the success of the business stream develops. This is an excellent opportunity for those with the desire to achieve results by hard work and who wish to participate in the future of a progressive organisation. You will be working for one of the supportive and personable Managing Directors I have come across who really takes pride in seeing his staff achieve.

About the benefits and rewards:

The company provides a basic salary of up to £65,000 plus a generous benefits package including car allowance, pensions and healthcare.

About the requirements:

You must have at least 7 years Quantity Surveying experience with good knowledge of traditional design-led residential projects. Some management/delegation experience would be preferable.
