About the company:

My client is a Tier 2 self-delivering contractor, who sub-contracts as well as work directly with the end client and are currently turning over £30M annually. They have over 25 years of experience delivering services such as installation, repair, maintenance, and reinstatement to the Civils, Water, and Multi Utility sectors, operating in North London, Essex, and Hertfordshire. My client values themselves on their customer service and strives to minimise disruption and impact on the communities they work in. They have 30 PAYE employees working directly for them, and 200 labour force.

About the role:

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Commercial Manager daily on installation, maintenance, and repair projects on a range of different-size mains. You will be working on a long-term framework that guarantees longevity in your role and room for progression within the company. You will be developing relationships with clients, analysing weekly and monthly cost and revenue data as well as producing a ‘Schedule of Rates’, and managing sub-contractors. You will be joining a very socialising team, and often will be involved in client meetings, in the office, or out on site.

Requirements:

You’ll be required to have a good standard of education preferably to a Foundation Degree level (HND or HNC) in Construction, Civils, Commercial Management, or Quantity Surveying (or hold an equivalent qualification). Stability is a necessity, with at least 3-4 years of experience working under a UK-based Civil Engineering Contractor. A UK driver’s license is essential as you will be traveling to various sites throughout the week.
