Sustained organic growth has led the company to its current position of over 50 members of staff and an annual turnover of £28 million. Typical projects our client works on are valued between £2 million and £8 million, however, they have work in the pipeline valued between £12 million and £15 million.

About the role:

Due to the company’s success and the amount of new work that is already in the pipeline, there is a need for a Quantity Surveyor to run 2-3 projects with a total value of £10 million. The projects will be in either the residential or healthcare sector. The successful candidate will be based in the company’s head office in Colchester and visit the respective sites when needed. Due to this, the successful candidate will benefit from day-to-day hands-on guidance and support from the Managing QS.

Your role will include management of the project in its entirety, profit and loss reporting, reporting into the accounts division, full responsibility for all procurement and risk management. You will be responsible for maintaining established profit margins and improving wherever possible the company’s profits.
