About the company:

My client is a specialist Water & Civil Engineering contractor turning over £20M per annum. They are, however, part of a larger group turning over £90M +. This collaboration ensures clients are receiving excellent service as they’re able to innovate on the latest technologies and methods in the industry. They focus on design; engineering & construction and they have built up a brilliant reputation with Southeast Water. The work involves the civil and mechanical design, construction, refurbishment, and commissioning of water treatment works and pumping stations across Southeast Water’s supply area, serving parts of Kent, Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire, and Berkshire.

About role:

The successful candidate will be reporting directly to the Framing Manager and will need to develop a plan to complete the project based on budget, and work schedule to go in line with clean water storage Reservoir Inspection & Maintenance works. You will be liaising with management and engineers to review the progress of construction projects and address any issues.

Requirements:

You’ll be required to have a good standard of education preferably to Foundation Degree level (HND, HNC) in a Construction, Civils, Business, or equivalent qualification. It’s important to have experience working within civil engineering as a planner and to show good long-term stability at the companies you have worked for (2-3 years per company you’ve worked for). You’ll also need a full UK driver’s license to allow you to get from the office to the construction site and to other locations you might require visiting.
