About the company

My client is a midsized, family run, utility and civil engineering contractor turning over £100M+. They specialise in highways, water (infrastructure and non-infrastructure, remediation and aggregates & plant. They are a well-respected contractor with a superb reputation covering projects throughout London, Kent and Hampshire. They are known for completing work on time and to a great standard, because of this they have landed some big contracts with Thames Water, Anglian Water, Southern Water and South East Water.

About the opportunity

Due to the company continuing to expand they are looking for a Project Manager to look after water and waste water projects within London. Responsibilities will include, the delivery of developer Services Major Projects (water and waste), ensuring compliance with their procedures to deliver world class health, safety, environment and wellbeing performance. You will be involved in providing leading customer service and satisfaction, delivering operational objectives to support the client in meeting their performance commitments and achieving high levels of compliance with Water UK performance metric targets. The successful candidates will also be involved in supporting the maximisation of cash collection & margin whilst maintaining an excellent relationship with the client through collaboration.

The successful candidate is in charge of reducing the number of complaints, improve street works performance, ensure projects are delivered on time and seek to continuously improve operational performance.

The relevant projects will all be within water and waste water throughout London. All the projects are high volume low cost works.

About the requirements

Institute of Leadership & Management Level 5 or equivalent

Formal project management qualification

Proficient in MSProject or equivalent

NEBOSH National Certificate (General or Construction)
