About the company

My client is a multi-disciplined, cash rich, well known sub-contractor who is currently turning over £85M per annum. They specialise primarily within the water (wastewater and clean water) and infrastructure areas of civil engineering, with offices in North London, Kent, and on the south coast (this role will be site based on projects in Croydon initially).

This position has come about due to continued and strategic ongoing growth but while the business is looking to expand they are also keen to maintain their family feel atmosphere, where it’s a fun working environment and everyone, is treated as a name, not a number, with the respect from the directors across the company.

About the role

My client is currently looking for a Project Manager to join their wastewater infrastructure team. Responsibilities will include, the delivery of projects, ensuring compliance with their procedures to deliver world-class health, safety, environmental, and wellbeing performance. You will be involved in providing leading customer service and satisfaction, delivering operational objectives to support the client in meeting their performance commitments. The successful candidates will also be involved in supporting the maximisation of cash collection & margin whilst maintaining an excellent relationship with the client through collaboration.

The successful candidate is in charge of reducing the number of complaints, improve street works performance, ensure projects are delivered on time, and seek to continuously improve operational performance.

About the requirements

You will not be considered for this position unless you have worked for a specialist utility contractor within the UK. Ideally working on water or multi-utility projects. 

NRSWA is an essential qualification for this position. 

Institute of Leadership & Management Level 5 or equivalent

Proficient in MSProject or equivalent

NEBOSH National Certificate (General or Construction)
