About the Role:

You will be leading a project team consisting of a Construction Manager & Quantity Surveyor to deliver the regeneration of a brownfield site into two residential blocks, providing 60 units and commercial space.  As Project Manager you will be expected to undertake but no limited to:

  • Manage Design Team (with Project Architect in support) & Leading the project/design team meetings.
  • Manage the  procurement schedule
  • Prepare tenders and procure sub-contractors, goods, and materials
  • Review tender submissions
  • Process Subcontractor orders and payments
  • Evaluate variations and instructions
  • Processing final accounts with the QS
  • Manage & update Cost Plan
  • Contribute to Investor Reports
  • Progress reports.
  • Manage/organise Statutory Utility Providers
  • Close out final certifications (Building Control etc)
  • Review, feed into and monitor Programme

Our client is seeking the finest candidates. This particular role would suit a Project Manager with a background as a Quantity Surveyor, or a Quantity Surveyor looking to step into Project Management. Experience delivering mid-sized, London orientated RC Frame developments in crucial.  Qualifications and accreditations such as CIOB, RICS, BSc Construction or Commercial Management would be preferred.
