My client is a privately-owned contractor with a superb reputation within Construction and Civil Engineering. They have been trading for over 60 years and because of this have built a strong client base where they get continuous repeat business as well as new business. They get involved in several types of works covering highways major projects, 278 works, Airports, marine & Environmental, water infrastructure, energy and new build. They have 3 regional offices which cover South Wales, Hampshire, South West England and Kent.

About the opportunity 

Due to the company continuing to expand they are looking for a Project Manager to look after a Highways Infrastructure project. Responsibilities will include, the delivery of the project which will include concrete works, earthworks and groundwork’s. You will be ensuring compliance with their procedures to deliver world class health, safety, environment and well being performance. You will be involved in providing leading customer service and satisfaction, delivering operational objectives to support the client in meeting their performance commitments and achieving high levels of compliance with the client. The successful candidate will also be involved in Pre-Construction on other projects.

The successful candidate is in charge of reducing the number of complaints, and ensure projects are delivered on time and seek to continuously improve operational performance.

About the requirements

Formal project management qualification

A stable career working for a tier one main contractor within the rail sector.

Proficient in MSProject or equivalent

NEBOSH National Certificate (General or Construction)
