Our client is award winning, and has been constructing specialist projects for the past two decades and have an outstanding record of delivering demanding project in sensitive environments of the Logistics & Distribution, Technology, Pharma and Food and Beverage industries. Projects undertaken consist of new build, upgrades/refurbishments, fit-out and extension projects throughout the UK and internationally, with contracts ranging from £5milliion to £50 million. Some of their well-known clients are include Glaxo Smith Cline, Reckitt Benckiser and Cancer research.

About the Role:

Our client is currently looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to add to their team. Projects will typically be new build projects for the Logistics & Distribution, Technology, Pharma and Food and Beverage industries.


Projects can be located anywhere geographically within the UK therefore this must be a flexible individual and be willing to stay away in the work week.  You will be responsible to the Construction Director for the efficient operation of the construction site delivering the project cost efficiently and to time. You will be responsible for the management of a site team comprising Construction Managers, Foremen, Site Secretaries and Document Controllers and management of the contractors and specialist suppliers including client contractors.


  • Attending and leading site meetings with clients & senior staff
  • Liaise and remain clients facing
  • Read and work from specifications and drawings
  • Ensure all Health and Safety standards are adhered to
  • Programme and ensure all works are on schedule
  • Oversee the direct labour force
  • Oversee and managing specialist subcontractors


About the Benefits and Rewards: 

The base package is circa £70,000 – £90,000, with package include car/allowance, healthcare and pension.  



The Suitable candidate must be willing to travel nationwide and will have extensive experience in managing main contractor contracts within the industrial, public, laboratories and logistics sectors. You will ideally hold industry led qualification and a member of the MCIOB and be degree qualified.
