This is an opportunity to join a Residential Contractor, a subsidiary of a reputable leading UK Construction & Regeneration group building for over 45 years. The wider group operates across construction, infrastructure, affordable housing, fit out, urban regeneration and investments giving them capability to take on exciting challenging schemes in partnerships with other companies in the group such as the Residential Development arm for which this position is for.

This growing contractor has recently been appointed as part of a joint venture forming a 50/50 partnership to provide more than 500 properties across 12 locations on 40 specific sites across Hertfordshire, including Letchworth, Stevenage, Welwyn Garden City, St Albans and South Oxhey. This success demonstrated the potential for the investments divisions to become a meaningful contributor to group profits.

About the opportunity:

Due to successful growth and new project wins, several Project Managers are required for London and the Northern Home Counties. Project Management is the link between this contractor and its client relationship which develops throughout the project from the first meeting to the final unveiling. This also involves making sure developments are delivered on the right budget and the best approach is taken to delivering it.

Joining this contractor at the midst of its growth, you will be required to deliver a residential led scheme including houses and apartments.

In general, salaries will take into consideration a number of factors including market practice, the individuals experience and responsibilities and pay structures within the company itself. Salaries will be set at a mutually agreeable level with set parameters to increase in line with performance. In this instance, the company are looking to pay up to £75,000 basic salary plus package.

About the requirements:

Educated to Construction Management Degree standard would be ideal however they welcome applications from professionals with a HNC in Construction Management or equivalent. You must be able to demonstrate and prove your experience of being the number one project lead through the life cycle of the contract from preconstruction through to handover, ideally on projects at least £10m.

You will be required to lead, inspire and motivate a team to deliver a high level of quality in a safe environment within the programme constrains and to the budget sets.
