About the Opportunity:

Our client is a Fit Out Contractor specialising in various internal construction packages such as M+E, Dry Lining, Carpentry, Firestopping Flooring & Decoration primarily across the commercial sector.  Based in Basildon, my Client has been trading for over 10 years and have gained an outstanding industry reputation within a niche market. This company undertakes projects ranging from FM Contracts, Sub-Contract packages and full fit out schemes operating as both a Main & Sub-Contractor. A financially stable business with a turnover of £14m our client is expecting a huge growth year based on successful tendering and strong industry demand.

About the Role

Due to high successful tendering and strong order books, my client looking for well-versed Project Manager with experience in Commercial Fit Out  to work within their Major project division. You will be capable of working within fast paced environment and running a projects up to £4M. The projects will be in and around the London area serving the commercial fit out market. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a rapidly growing contractor within their specialist sector. This role would suit somebody with the desire to achieve results by hard work and who wish to participate in the future of one of the most progressive organizations. The working environment is very friendly and enjoyable to be a part of which is reflected in the remarkably low staff turnover. Your role will include but not be limited to:

  • Working alongside the Director
  • Business Development, making introductions and client proposals
  • Client Meetings
  • Estimating, working to schedule of rates.
  • Following contractual agreements
  • Allocating work to sub-contractors
  • Managing installation & Q+A
  • Overseeing budgets
  • Building Client relationships

You will be well rewarded for your hard work with a remuneration package that will correspond to the individuals experience and skills.  The guideline basic salary is £50,000 – £65,000 (Negotiable), however this will be dependent upon the specific skills and experience of each individual.

 

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience with a reputable contractor. Degree qualified preferred. Most importantly the candidate for this role must be trustworthy, reliable, conscientious and keen to progress your career further. You will also have to be a highly motivated individual and a strong team player.  A consistent employment record is essential with at least two years at each employer.
