Our privately owned client who is based in Central London is a leading name within the demolition and civil engineering industry with a group annual turnover in excess of £100M. Their services include asbestos removal, temporary works, demolition, remediation, drainage, bulk excavation works, piling and reinforced concrete works and their strong reputation for successfully finishing challenging projects has been built on delivery and trust.

About the role:

Based upon current and anticipated workload, our client is recruiting permanently for a Project Manager. Project Manager will join the company’s existing management team, reporting directly to contracts manager and will be responsible for the onsite management of a project, ensuring it is managed within time and budget. As a Project manager you will have a clear understanding of the value of the contract and its duration and you will have a clear understanding of the client and project expectations and requirement.

About the requirements:

To be considered for this position, you will have a degree / HNC or equivalent in a construction related discipline. Furthermore, you will hold an SMSTS, first aid Certificate (4 day), asbestos awareness certificate and have experience in temporary works.

Additionally, due to the nature of their projects, you must have previous grade 3 basement experience, utilizing waterproof concrete and waterproof membranes plus knowledge in reinforced concrete, drainage, temporary works, bulk excavation works and piling.

Please note: Proven experience in the senior role is vital and as this is a permanent position, looking for individuals who can demonstrate stability of employment throughout their career, holding each appointment for a minimum of 3 years.

About the benefits and rewards:

For this role, we are targeting individuals looking to earn anywhere between £60,000 – £70,000 per annum however specific remuneration will depend on experience and suitability. Furthermore, there will be a generous package offered in addition to other benefits associated with a large successful company.
