Operating across the UK with regional offices in the North West, The Midlands and the South East, our client provides services including remediation, site investigation and risk assessment to various petrochemical companies, retailers, government departments, and land and property owners.

About the opportunity:

Due to successful company expansion and healthy order books, my client is currently recruiting permanently for a Remediation Project Manager to join their North West division. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will be involved on mixed use and residential developments and general duties will include the following:

  • Working closely with the senior management to scope, design and price remediation works
  • Support tender and bid writing
  • Oversee site operations and work closely with site managers to deliver projects on time
  • Subcontractor and client liaison
  • Programme of works scheduling, time frame management
  • Site risk assessment and incident reporting
  • Technical review of data and report writing
  • Mentor junior members of staff and oversee technical output from senior engineers

About the requirements:

In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be degree qualified in a relevant subject (Geology, Environmental Sciences, Civil Engineering). Additionally, you must have hands on site management experience, knowledge of remediation of contaminated land and bulk earthworks and a track record of managing projects from acquisition to sign off.

It is imperative you hold a valid CSCS and SMSTS and due to the remit of work, a full UK driving license is essential.

About the benefits and rewards:

For this opportunity, my client is targeting professionals looking to earn anywhere between £50,000 – £60,000 per annum, however specific remuneration will depend on experience and suitability. Furthermore, there will be a generous package on offer which includes a company vehicle, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, private healthcare and enrolment on to their pension scheme.
