Our client is a privately owned, award winning environmental contractor and consultancy who has vast proven experience in providing specialist advice in order to enable the redevelopment of brownfield sites. Operating across the UK with regional offices in the North West and South West of England, this client provides services including remediation, site investigation and risk assessment to various petrochemical companies, government departments, land owners, residential developers and build contractors, with project values ranging from £100K to over £2M.

About the opportunity:

Due to continued growth, our client is recruiting permanently for a knowledgeable Technical Project Manager with circa 4 years’ post graduate experience. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing remediation contracting works, Phase II site investigations and supporting commercial proposals so your time will be split between office and site based working (50/50) and will involve the combined project management, technical reporting and commercial role.

About the requirements:

In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be degree qualified in a relevant subject (Geology, Environmental Sciences, Civil Engineering) and hold 4 years post graduate experience. You must hold broad geo-environmental / geotechnical experience which should have been gained whilst working for an environmental consultancy or remediation contractor in the UK. Furthermore, you will be experienced in Phase I/II geo-environmental assessments, competent in geotechnical assessments for outlining foundation advice and be comfortable in working on site and supervising contractors.

Due to the remit of the opportunity, it is essential you hold a full UK driving license.

About the benefits and rewards: 

For this permanent opportunity, we are targeting professionals looking to earn anywhere from £35,000 to £45,000 per annum, however specific salary will depend on experience and suitability. Furthermore, there will be a generous package on offer in addition to the usual benefits associated with a large successful company.
