My client is looking for a talented Project Director to join their expanding team in Oxfordshire. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced construction professional to join their operations team.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As Project Director you will take complete ownership of Design and Build fit-out projects from initial inquiry to project completion. You will be responsible for leading teams and delivering projects on time and within budget to the quality required. Alongside this, you will be expected to manage client relationships while identifying opportunities for future business. You will be experienced in office design and build or commercial fit-out and be able to demonstrate a strong level of leadership, project management, client relationship skills, successful project delivery, and client satisfaction.

REQUIREMENTS
The Project Director will be ambitious and hungry to take the next step in their career. The ideal candidate will be a thoughtful, collaborative, and professional individual with extensive management experience in the office design and build world or an individual looking to make the step up from Senior Project Manager/Contracts Manager to a more senior position.
You will ideally have a bachelor’s degree in architecture, QS, Construction Management, or a construction-related field. You will have a minimum of 10 years in design and build fit-out projects either as a Project Director or similar role and a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget. You will have a strong understanding of design and construction processes, building codes, and regulations. You will possess excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. You will be proficient in management software such as Microsoft projects. You will be able to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment. Alongside this, you will lead and inspire teams to get the work done to the highest quality, on time, and in budget.
REWARDS AND BENEFITS
For the suitable Project Director, my client is offering a salary of £85k – £95k depending on experience. Alongside this you will be given a travel allowance, company pension, healthcare, quarterly incentives, and performance-based bonus.
Alongside this, my client offers a flexible working approach and will allow the successful candidate to manage their weekly diary. Occasional hybrid work can be discussed. My client wants to ensure that each employee has a manageable schedule and comfortable work-life balance.
