Based in Guildford, our client is a UK leading name within the demolition and civil engineering sector and has an annual group turnover in excess of £150M. As a business, they specialise in various sectors including rail, environmental services, demolition, and remediation and decommissioning and undertake high profile, technical projects throughout the country with a large presence in/around London.

As they are a specialist contractor they have a mixture of repeat business whilst constantly engaging with new clients to work on a widespread of projects.

About the opportunity:

Due to healthy order books and a large influx of long term projects, there is a need for an experienced pre-construction / Bid manager. This opportunity will primarily be focused on the management and delivery of tender returns. You will have the chance to lead and push contact for new inquiries. This position will also require you to manage all business development budgets whilst ensuring you also maintain and developing client relationships. In this position, you will be a key member when it comes to moving the company forward. Our client’s scheme to ensure that every employee is up to date with all relevant training means you will be working to the highest standard.

This opportunity will also allow you to make an impact on the company by bringing your previous and fresh ideas to the table. You will be able to work on some market-leading projects as a pre-construction / bid manager.

About the package:

For this permanent opportunity, I am targeting individuals looking to earn anywhere from £70,000 – £85,000 per annum, however, there may be flexibility on this as the specific salary will be dependent on previous experience and ability. The company also provides an excellent package on top.

About the requirements:

As a senior member of the team it is essential you are degree qualified and have project management experience. Self-sufficiency will be key in managing a large workload and meeting deadlines. It would be desirable if you have an NVQ level 4 in construction site management. CITB/CSCS site manager’s safety training schemes.
