About the company

My client is a multi-disciplined, cash rich, well known sub-contractor who are currently turning over £60M per annum. They specialise primarily within the water (waste water and clean water) and infrastructure areas of civil engineering, with offices in North London, Slough, Kent and on the south coast (this role will be based in their office in Slough).

This position has come about due to continued and strategic ongoing growth but while the business is looking to expand, they are also keen to maintain their family feel atmosphere where it’s a fun working environment and everyone is treated as a name, not a number, with the respect from the directors across the company.

About the Opportunity

The purpose of this role is to plan and coordinate the work allocation of gangs. To ensure all works are delivered to the required contract’s program, achieving contractual SLA’s, ensure efficient planning, utilising full workforce. Ensuring that the clients/customers’ expectations are met by delivering a first-class service.

Good communication skills are required because you will be liaising with teams, supervisors and Operatives providing accurate information, job details to enable the works to be carried out. The successful candidate will need to create NRSWA permits to the Local Authorities and ensure that the notices meet legislative requirements as well as making sure all projects are planned and coordinating correctly.

About the Requirements:

  • Previous planning experience
  • Previous utilities experience desirable
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good time management skills and able to work to deadlines
