About the Employer:

This business is one of my top clients. Having worked with them for the past 10+ years I have seen them develop in both size and capability over this time. They now currently turnover above £100 million per annum, building concrete frame and groundwork packages ranging in value up to £20 million each for a variety of residential contractors and developers throughout London and the surrounding Northern Home Counties. They have a very modern edge to the business while maintaining traditional roots and are still privately owned by the original MD (who is a true gent).

On a personal note, I believe this company is one of the best not only for the projects they help complete but also because of the environment they create for the people who work there. They go that extra mile to not only to retain their staff but to truly keep them happy to be with the business. Small things have been added to the office like a gym that people have access to all day with extra half an hour breaks given three times a week for anyone who wants to use it. They have a treatments room where massages and cosmetic treatments are available to everyone on Fridays free of charge, all you have to do is book in. And with plans in place for a roof top garden and BBQ area, I’d want to work here myself if I had the relevant experience in this role!  They really are a great company to work for to gain great project experience, to develop capability in modern construction techniques and to be part of the values they believe in.


About the Opportunity:

We have been asked to find someone with a strong understanding and background with in the crane / tower crane industry. As the role sounds this position will involve the running and development of a specialist tower crane division which is part of a larger construction business. It is likely this position will involve everything from business development, operational control and direct client liaison, so it is important that the suitable individual has held a senior management position before. Further details on the position will be discussed on a one on one basis at interview with the MD of this business.


About the Requirements:

Suitable applicants will have a proven background with in the tower crane industry in construction. You should also have held senior management positions to be able to understand the multiple aspects of a role like this and the attitude / application required to carry it out well. Outside of this I am open to having conversations with anyone who feels they tick these boxes and should be considered.


About the Rewards:

This business has always rewarded their staff well and in addition to the gym room, treatments room and garden BBQ area, they are open to negotiation to offer the right individual a salary / package they are very happy with to come on board and start on. This has been given a ball park range of £75,000 to £100,000 per annum plus full benefits. Obviously this is a wide range though to allow for people of various current levels, but no matter what you start on, targets will be provided to help you improve on your package year on year.
