About the opportunity:

My client is recruiting permanently for an experienced Operations Manager who will be responsible for supporting the Operations Director and Managing Director in leading and managing complex inner city centre demolition projects with values up to £30M within time, budget and with health and safety at the forefront.

As an Operations Manager you will be responsible for the complete life cycle production of several projects, from pre-construction phase through to completion, meaning overall accountability for project team management and delegation; programme delivery; client and contractor relationship; financial control and resource planning.

This opportunity offers a salary between £90,000 – £110,000 per annum although there may flexibility on this due to individual backgrounds. Furthermore, there will be a generous package offered which will include private health care, pension, car allowance and travel expenses will be covered.

About the requirements:

In order to the considered for this senior opportunity, it is vital you have proven experience of working within the demolition sector, whilst employed by a subcontractor / principal contractor in the South East. Professional experience must demonstrate success in managing complex inner city centre projects with minimum values of £7M and you must be able to demonstrate a stable career history, holding each previous appointment for a minimum of 3 years.

Ideally, you will degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar and whilst it is preferable to have worked at Operations Management level previously, my client is open to considering a proven Senior Project Manager who is keen to step up this this level in the not to distant future.
