About the company:

Our Client is a tier one main contractor who is currently operating with a turnover of £20 billion. They have offices worldwide; in the UK, their head office is based in the West Country and they have locals’ depots based in London, the West Midlands and Yorkshire. Despite having an overall specialism in rail, they also have teams that specialise in highways infrastructure, tunnelling, energy, bridges and structures.

About the role

My client is actively recruiting for a Site Supervisor to oversee specialist MEP sub contractors on a major rail project in London. The purpose of this opportunity is to assist with the management and coordination of MEP trades on the project under the direction of the MEP manager

The successful candidate will need to construct and deliver the allocated section of work within a specified time frame with correctly allocated resources.  You’re going to need to optimise outputs and reduce the need for overtime working to allow all colleagues to keep a good working pattern throughout the week. It’s important to note that you’ll also need to ensure safety compliances and promote safe working practices. As the potential new Site Supervisor, you will be in charge of monitoring construction activity on site and make sure that they meet up to the quality standards put in place.

It’s important to note that this position will involve night time shifts, around 40% of the work will be done at night.

About the Benefits and rewards

You will be rewarded with a very competitive salary ranging from £45,000 – £50,000 + a full package on top.

About the requirements

It is preferred that you have come up from the tools into a Supervisor position, working on major Civil Engineering and London Underground projects overseeing MEP packages.

You will be a PTS, CSCS and SSSTS/SMSTS ticket.

A UK driving license is mandatory for this role.
