My client is a Mechanical Design and installation Specialist, offering a vast range of Mechanical services. This client offers a comprehensive service throughout multiple sectors of the construction industry including commercial and healthcare. Working with well-established Main Contractors, this clients has steadily grown since their incorporation in 1998. This is an opportunity to join a business who have secured a number of multi-million pound projects in London, and are seeking to bring in driven people to our team promising interesting and challenging work within a supportive environment.

About the Role:

The role of Project Manager is to plan, implement and deliver projects according to programme, budget and quality.The Project Manager is expected to maintain the company’s standard of work in all duties, especially to manage Clients expectations so as to create a professional and positive perception. The majority of the work load consists of main plant replacement projects such as chillers and boilers, Cat A fit outs, BMS works.

You will have overall responsibility for the successful project delivery;

·Taking the Project from the estimating team via a project hand over

·Review of the Scope, be actively involved in the production of presentation documents where required.

·Better buying of all packages, in line with company policy

·Issuing technical submittals of all Equipment / Packages

·Issue all programmes pre construction

·Manage overall project delivery from inception to practical completion

·Quality control

·Sub-Contractor management


·Commissioning and handover

Candidate Requirements:

·Must have 5 Years’ experience of managing Mechanical Installation projects

·HNC or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is preferred

·Major projects experience would be preferred of £5m mechanical package value and above.

·You will have a proven track record of successfully carrying out a similar role.

·Strong Commercial acumen, with a knowledge of commercial accountability on previous projects

·Longevity demonstrated through previous employment

·Salary range from £45,000 to £60,000 dependant on experience
