My client are a specialist contractor who focus on delivering modular solutions to residential building requirements across the UK. Based in West London, This exciting, privately owned business has grown rapidly since their inception, being built on a project by project basis by industry experts who have come from mixed backgrounds including top tier main contactors and specialist builders alike. As the business has grown, so has the team, and they have recently made a couple of major appointments, drawing in senior industry professionals from rival businesses with their forward thinking business model and fast moving projects. They have numerous live projects and a number of big plans in the pipeline all of which are supported by an off-site factory where their modular units are built. With the order book for 2021 already full, their future looks bright and stable and with this in mind they are looking to continue their sustained growth by building in a few new members of the team.

 About the Role:


Our client is looking for an M&E Coordinator to join their successful London team to support the M&E Manager and advise on all M&E matters. This is a new role within the business, which will enable the individual a high level of autonomy and allow the individual to put in place systems and processes. The role will demand involvement with the tender and pre-construction stages of projects, interaction with the client to ensure a consistent flow of information, commercial control of all Mechanical and Electrical service packages on projects. You will be expected to:


  • Oversee projects start to completion from a M&E standpoint
  • Involvement in the tendering process
  • Manage the procurement process
  • Manage the design co-ordination and instillation
  • Coordinate with other disciplines on relative projects.
  • Preparing material requisitions.
  • Maintain site material control and inspection reports with a view to making recommendations to clients.
  • Effectively oversee all direct reports and ensure that all people, both direct labour and sub contract labour, are fully trained and working in compliance
  • Undertaking & supporting site maintenance deliverables


Projects will mainly cover high rise residential new builds utilising off-site construction methods. The working environment is very friendly and enjoyable to be a part of which is reflected in the companies remarkably low staff turnover.

The client is looking for an experienced Building services professional. You must be driven and have a hard work ethic and must also have a structured permanent career. You must have experience of working within a mechanical or electrical trade.  Experience in high end residential refurbishment is preferable.
