Our client provides bespoke construction logistics and waste management packages to many of the UK’s largest construction companies and developers – Multiplex Construction, Berkeley Homes, Balfour Beatty, Redrow Homes, Wates Construction, Willmott Dixon, BAM, and Galliford Try to name but a few. They are currently providing construction logistic services to a number of projects across London, ranging from large and complex residential projects to smaller mixed-use projects in the commercial, retail and industrial sectors.

About the opportunity

Due to continuous growth (they have won many landmark contracts in recent months), our client requires a number of Logistics Managers to be responsible for logistics related activities on sites in and around London. You will be running major construction projects, looking after all logistic processes on site, from waste management, traffic management, welfare facilities management to lifting operations.

Salary will be in the region of £50,000 – £60,000, these salaries are based on the individual’s level of experience and skill.

About the requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have a stable and progressive employment history. Furthermore, you must have strong logistics experience with a main contractor and/or residential developer on major construction projects. This opportunity will suit someone who holds an NVQ Level 6 (minimum) in Construction Management. As a strong team player with excellent communication skills, you will have a good working knowledge of building regulations and have completed a recognised safety programme.
