About the opportunity:

Due to continued company expansion and confirmed forward workload of technical projects, my client is recruiting permanently for a Land Surveyor who will report directly to the Engineering Manager / Senior CAD Technician. As a Land Surveyor, you will travel to the companies sites (earthwork / enabling / remediation sites) primarily throughout the South / South East (although sites are UK wide) and will be responsible for undertaking surveying / setting out topos, levels, stockpiles etc using survey equipment. You will work closely with the Engineering Manager, regularly communicating and sending and receiving DXF / DWG and / or full 3D models (LSS) and will be expected to produce, proposed and as-built drawings using CAD 2D / 3D.

About the requirements:

In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must hold the following attributes:

  • Fully proficient in using Trimble, Topcon or Leica survey equipment to undertake setting out / recording levels, boundaries, points etc
  • BSc / HNC or similar in Engineering, Civil Engineering or similar discipline
  • A minimum of 3 years site experience
  • Be willing to cover sites across the UK (mainly focused in the south/south east) and lodge away throughout the week
  • Must hold a CSCS card

About the benefits / rewards:

For this exciting opportunity, the specific salary on offer has been left negotiable as the specifics will depend on previous experience and suitability however professionals can expect to target renumeration between £30,000 – £45,000 per annum. In addition to this, a generous benefits package will be offered to include a commercial van and fuel card, ‘staying away’ lodge allowance and a suitable spec laptop.
