About the opportunity:

Due to continued company expansion and confirmed forward workload of technical projects, my client is recruiting permanently for a Land Surveyor / Site Engineer. In this position, you will travel to the companies sites (earthworks / remediation sites) primarily throughout the South East (although sites can be UK wide) and will be responsible for undertaking surveying / setting out topos, levels, stockpiles etc using survey equipment. You will be accountable for using EDM, GPS and machine control to monitor the earthwork volumes; create 3D models for machine control; produce cut and fill models and volumes; liaise with the design and commercial teams; and produce as built information and quality assurance reports.

About the requirements:

In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must hold the following attributes:

  • Fully proficient in using Trimble GPS or Leica survey equipment to undertake setting out / recording levels, boundaries, points etc
  • Have proven experience within earthworks and remediation
  • BSc / HNC or similar in Engineering, Civil Engineering or similar discipline
  • A minimum of 4 years proven experience in land surveying / site engineering
  • Be willing to cover sites across the South East
  • Must hold a valid CSCS card

About the benefits / rewards:

For this exciting opportunity, the specific salary on offer has been left negotiable as the specifics will depend on previous experience and suitability however professionals can expect to target a renumeration between £35,000 – £50,000 per annum. In addition to this, a generous benefits package will be offered.
